The legendary BBQ competition is back — this time at just the right moment, when the cabbages have grown plump in the fields. The prize fund is many times bigger than ever before: five thousand euros in all.
The legendary Pudru ja Kapsad takes place on 19 September! By then the cabbages and the porridge grains are ripe in the fields. And of course the main categories, chicken and pork ribs, are on as well.
“Porridge and cabbage” ended up in the name of the competition for organisational reasons — so that we'd have something odd to put together :) But the competition is judged by experienced, internationally certified judges, so it is certainly no joke.
The host of the day is Tarmo Griffel, the “Grill Doctor” from Tagasi Tiimis. The BBQ bar is open from the morning until late in the evening.
If you're a beginner and haven't taken part in a BBQ competition yet, this is your moment!
Estonia's top BBQ people will be here — and they're not only at the top at home, but in European terms too. Plus, of course, plenty of new teams.

The entry fee includes a place in all three categories: chicken, pork ribs, and pudru ja kapsad. We'll send the competition rules to the email address you give when you register.
